GOLDEN GATE, Fla. A car crashed into a home and a garage early Sunday morning on 41st Street Southwest, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said.
The crash happened around 2:24 a.m. on the 2300 block, according to deputies.
No one was injured, but the driver fled the scene, deputies said. The sheriff’s office is looking for the driver, but no description of the driver has been made available.
The collision destroyed part of a concrete structure and a parked car inside the garage, deputies said. It also caused the roof to become unstable and burst pipes that flooded the back bedroom, making it impossible for the homeowner to stay in the house.
