As you have heard, every second counts during an emergency. Naples Police Dept. knows that and they want to respond faster when they are not in a car.
Over the weekend, we saw how police in Dayton, Ohio, managed to take down a mass shooter in a mere 30 seconds.
“Their adrenaline tends to go up, their stress tends to go up and their breathing rate tends to go up,” said John Barkley, assistant chief of police for NPD. “All those things would be exacerbated if you pedal hard on a bicycle to get there.”
